In a short span of just 50 days since taking office, Mr. Bola Tinubu has made two significant policy blunders that have raised questions about his ability to make well-thought-out and strategic policy choices, especially given Nigeria's current economic challenges. 

Instead of serving the people who entrusted him with power, it is alleged that Mr. Ikpeazu enriched himself, his family, and his friends. If found guilty, he should be imprisoned for life and forced to repay, with interest, all the stolen money and relinquish all unlawfully acquired land and properties. Through his misconduct, he tragically contributed to the untimely deaths of numerous innocent Abians.

Rather than eliminating the sole benefit derived by ordinary Nigerians from the national oil dividend, the government should focus on implementing a well-managed and corruption-free subsidy program that uplifts the population without discarding the benefits.

Kalu has come to the sobering realization that those who were once instrumental in his rise to power, who turbaned him and bestowed upon him accolades and authority, are now the ones who have stripped him of his facade and exposed his true character before the entire nation.

It is of utmost strategic importance for the Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unite through a merger of equals. This union would give rise to a new political entity, named the Peoples Labour Party (PLP).
